| THE TALLEST BOY Almost all the students in our grade know that the tallest boy in our school is named Liang Wenfeng. He is 1.94mertres tall and of course good at playing basketball. He and I are in the same class. Though I’m much shorter than him, he just sits behind me.I think he is not only tall, but also very strong. On the first day of term, we had so many books to carry that we all felt very tired. But except Liang , he could carry so many books without taking a rest. When finishing this hard work I was almost out of breath, but he was reading an interesting book with a smile on his face. Liang is good at computer as well. One day, the physics teacher wanted to turn on the computer in our classroom, but he failed to do it. Even the student who was in charge of the computer had no idea what to do. At this very time, the tallest boy in our class came near the machine which was too high for us to reach. He just stood on the chair, held up his long arm and pressed one of the buttons. Then the computer was on, we were so excited. Later, the teacher said with a smile, “Liang, you are the most important student in our class. ”So you can imagine what an unusual boy he is. Though Liang is very tall, he never looks down upon those who are short . He gets on very well with all the students in our class. He is always ready to help others. If someone has difficulties in studying or everyday life, he would give him a hand. He always says: “I will help you out of trouble as far as I can.” So he is popular in our class or even in our grade. Sometimes we like to call him “Yao Ming Two”. But he doesn’t like this name. “I’m just myself,” he says in a proud voice. Maybe some students think that Liang is too tall and is a little unusual. They may even sneer at him. But he just smiles and never gets angry with them. In my opinion, he is really great！I believe that one day they will feel sorry for what they have done to hurt the tall boy. I also know that Liang’s greatest wish is to be a successful businessman. So I’m sure that he must be working hard now. Because only in this way, his dream can come true. And of course, he is a very clever and hard-working boy. In the hope of being better at playing basketball, he does exercises for more than two hours every day. He is going to take part in an important competition before long. On the other hand, though he feels tired after exercises, he never sleeps at class. He just sits straight and puts his heart into listening to the teacher. Finally, I just want to say, “the tallest will also be the best in our class！” 指导老师：宁利群 |
