[高中范文] Environment Pollution
When I was a child, I liked sitting under some tall trees and bamboos, either playing chess or reading poems. I often caught some fishes in a clean stream. All the things which were surrounded me were like a very beautiful picture. But now, the picture has disappeared.
The world is changing…
Today the world is developing very fast and the economy competitions among the countries are very keen. People take full advantage of the natural resources. They don’t pay any attention to protecting the nature. What they have done leads to serious environment pollution. It has become a big problem so far.
Many factories are built everywhere, which need a large number of trees, mineral and water. As a result of it, more and more trees are being cut while no trees are planted, more and more flesh rivers are disappearing, more and more air is being turned black…
Once it rains, the soil will be washed away. When it winds, the earth will be blown away. And then, the farmlands are turned into deserts. Lots of plants and animals cannot live in such a place; many fishes have died and are dying because of water pollution; the climate of our earth is changing...
The world is crying…
What we should do to change the world that was polluted by us is the most urgent problem that we must solve. The scientists are working hard at this field. They have been marking scores of discoveries. But I think this is just a small part in solving the problem. The society is the main operators. More and more people should do what they could to improve the environment in everyday lives. As senior students, we should plant trees and grow grass in the school and in the places that surround us; we should make full uses of our knowledge to let people know the environment improvement needs their helps; whenever we see some rubbishes on the street, we should pick them up and throw them into the dustbins; we could also learn how to make the rubbish recycled again and how to purify our dirty water… All the things are easy but important for us.
Now we are facing to the music. We should realize that we must try our best to protect our world immediately. If we all do our best to love our world, I think we could seat ourselves in the shade surrounded by tall bamboos and trees, either playing chess or reading poems again everyday.
I love our best friend——the world. I am more anxious for the wonderful days.
